Meetings

Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding their child(ren) are invited to attend our meetings. All ages and stages are welcome too – not just tiny babies or those with struggles. In fact, we encourage it! Sharing our breastfeeding experiences is at the heart of LLL meetings ❀️. Buccleuch has partner meetings twice a year.

What to expect

As you arrive, you’ll be offered a warm drink and refreshments 🍰πŸͺ. We tend to sit in a circle and start with introductions, a group discussion about a particular aspect of breastfeeding, and then time for your questions. If you’re pregnant, you’re very welcome at our meetings! You might also like to attend our online antenatal course .

If you’ve not been to an in person meeting before, have a look at this short video to see what to expect.

If you can’t make an LLL Edinburgh meeting, you are welcome to join any other virtual meeting happening across the country. Have a look at the LLLGB calendar for more information.

Toddler Meeting

Join us every first Saturday of the month at 10:30 at Buccleuch Church, 10 West Crosscauseway, Newington EH8 9JP.

Toddler meetings are a space for conversations around breastfeeding and older children, but as with any LLL meeting, we’ll make time to answer any questions you come with! All ages and stages are welcome!

Stefania and Sarah will be there to welcome you.

From the main road, you will see the gated entrance to the church.

You can either go up the steps to the big door, or go around to the right of the building and use the flat entrance at the back door. This back door takes you into the sanctuary, head towards the back of the hall and you’ll see us through the double doors.

If you go up the steps into the main entrance, there are some chairs here for partners if they’d like to wait.

Continue straight ahead and you’ll see the main room through the double doors.
